Comments on Housing Authorities’ Domestic Violence Policies
Under VAWA, housing authorities are required to state in their annual plans how they are serving the housing needs of survivors of domestic violence, dating violence, stalking and sexual assault. Advocates can play a vital role during the annual planning process by urging their housing authorities to adopt policies that protect survivors’ housing rights.
