Senior Staff Attorney – California Advocacy Director
The National Housing Law Project seeks a California Advocacy Director to lead our work on housing justice issues with a focus on NHLP’s role as a California legal and advocacy support center. NHLP is actively involved in advocacy, training and litigation related to tenants’ rights and affordable housing preservation in California with a particular focus on the federally assisted housing programs. This is a dynamic position that will allow the attorney to work with advocates across California, the Housing Justice Network, and a tremendous team at NHLP. Project Manager
The National Housing Law Project seeks a Project Manager. The Project Manager will own the development and implementation of solutions for a variety of operational challenges. NHLP Ops is a small but mighty team, and we emphasize flexibility and creativity in our collaboration. The ideal candidate will be able to learn and adapt quickly, build strong relationships, manage multiple projects at once, and balance administrative and project work. Depending on NHLP’s needs, the Project Manager’s primary job responsibilities may range from managing grant reporting and employee engagement initiatives to running online registration for our biannual conference, in addition to a core set of administrative duties. Although this is an individual contributor position, the Project Manager will partner often and extensively with team members across functions, and will report to the Director of Operations and Technology. 2025 Summer Law Clerks
The National Housing Law Project (NHLP) is currently accepting applications from law students for summer 2025 clerkship positions. The clerkship is a full-time position that will last approximately 10 weeks. Clerks have the option of working remotely from anywhere; those local to the San Francisco Bay Area can choose to come to the San Francisco office on select days over the course of the summer.
