We’re transforming our housing system to build a world where everyone has a safe, stable, and healthy home. Our work reflects the idea that housing policies propel our democracy forward when they serve all Americans, not predatory lenders and corporate landlords.
The National Housing Law Project is the preeminent legal and advocacy organization working at the federal, state, and local levels to advance housing rights and preserve affordable housing alongside our thousands-strong membership of advocates across the country, the Housing Justice Network. We advocate, educate, litigate, and help build the housing justice movement by working closely with legal aid attorneys and organizers to keep working people and families stably housed. We provide training, legal technical assistance, and advocacy support to our network.
